I have been episode free for 13 months and can only hope that it continues that way now that I have a little girl.  I would hate to miss one minute with her.

I just past the 6 year mark.  Good to hear David that you have been episode free for over a year.  I have not had an episode since I have had kids (a girl and a boy).  It would certainly not be easy for them to understand and I hope they never have to go through it themselves.

Nicolas how long did it actually take to enter into “remission”.  I mean, was there a period of anxiety before you realized you were free?  Was there anything that signaled you were coming back?  Were you faced with having to account for employment gaps on a job application?  Do you continue to take medication?  Did your doctor recognize the shift in your “reality” or did he or she rely on your reports?  Thanks, I am curious to compare my own with others’ experiece.
